In accordance with Section 6(2) of the Standards Act, 2008, the SABS Board comprises a minimum of seven (7) and a maximum of nine (9) members. These members are appointed by the Shareholder, and one of them is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SABS, who serves on the Board by virtue of their office.

Board members serve a term not exceeding five (5) years and are eligible for reappointment. However, no member may serve more than two (2) consecutive terms.
